On July 23, 2025, the 10th BNU Philosophy Summer School and the 6th International Youth Program on Chinese Culture, jointly organized by the Center for Values and Culture Studies, the School of Philosophy, the International Confucian Association, and the Institute of Chinese Culture at Beijing Normal University, successfully concluded. International Confucian Association, and the Institute of Chinese Culture | BNU Academy of Chinese Studies, successfully concluded in Room A807 of the Main Building. Over thirty young scholars from 27 countries worldwide attended the closing ceremony. Professor Jiang Limei from the School of Philosophy at Beijing Normal University and Associate Professor Dai Haiqiang, Assistant Dean of the School of Philosophy, attended the closing ceremony. The event was presided over by Associate Professor Cui Xiaojiao from the School of Philosophy at Beijing Normal University.

At 9:00 AM, the closing ceremony commenced. Participants from three groups first delivered academic presentations centered on this year's project theme, “Chinese Thought and Modern Civilization.” They explored topics including “Confucian Thought and Modern Life,” “Classical Interpretation and Civilizational Dialogue,” and “Artificial Intelligence and Humanistic Values,” each offering rich scholarly insights. Instructors from each group provided insightful commentary. Through this showcase, participants engaged in profound reflection on the dialogue and integration between classical and modern thought, as well as the cross-pollination between technology and humanities.

Following the academic presentations, a warm-up video played on the large screen, capturing moments from the participants' 14 days of study and daily life. At 11:30 AM, Jiang Limei first commended the participants for their outstanding performances, then introduced the MA Program in Chinese Philosophy offered by the School of Philosophy at Beijing Normal University.

Next, several participants shared their closing remarks. They expressed sincere gratitude to the instructors, organizers, and staff for their dedicated efforts throughout the program, reflecting on the insights and gains they had gained. Participants noted that through exchanges with peers from diverse national and cultural backgrounds, they had forged deep friendships. This multicultural dialogue also fostered a more profound understanding of the essence and contemporary relevance of Chinese philosophy and Confucian culture.

Ten years of journey, ten years of dedication. This year's Beijing Philosophy Summer School and International Youth Program on Chinese Culture spanned fourteen days. Participants engaged in a rich array of activities including academic lectures, scholar dialogues, cultural experiences, field trips, group discussions, and academic presentations. They gained profound insights into the intrinsic connection between Confucian civilization and China's modernization journey, laying a solid foundation for future academic research and cultural exchange while forging deep international friendships. We look forward to reuniting in the future!
